High above the Rhone Valley at an altitude of 1,000 to 1,300 meters above sea level lies the rustic village of Guttet-Feschel. The municipality has the appearance of a typical Valais mountain village and boasts a sunny location with a dry climate in the heart of Valais.
Guttet and Feschel were independent communities for several centuries. They finally merged in 2000. This is hardly surprising, as the residents have always had strong ties to one another.
The municipality of Guttet-Feschel has a kindergarten and a primary school. Both were established jointly with the municipality of Erschmatt in 2019. Guttet-Feschel also offers 19 clubs and recreational activities tailored to the individual interests of the whole family. The village is accessible by post bus. The winding road leads you to the valley floor, from where you can quickly reach the economic centers of Valais.
