The commune of Estavayer, located on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel, is a Fribourg commune of 10,000 inhabitants and the capital of the Broye district.
The historic town centre of Estavayer-le-Lac contains architectural treasures, including the Château de Chenaux and the Collegiate Church of Saint-Laurent dating from the Middle Ages.

The city is well served by the A1 motorway (entrance 5 minutes away), a CFF train station and a bus station. It is strategically located between Lausanne (40 min) and Bern (35 min).
