A word from the architect
"I was inspired by the emblematic terraces of Lavaux to design a building that blends harmoniously into the landscape, following the natural lines of the land. The gardens and terraces flow seamlessly into each other and connect smoothly to the natural terrain, in the spirit of the characteristic vineyard walls of the region.

Every detail, from the embrasures to the rooflines, subtly echoes certain architectural codes of winegrowers' houses, without seeking to reproduce them. Mineral tones and a terracotta-hued roof have been favored, echoing Chardonne's built heritage.

Resolutely contemporary, the architecture elegantly fits into its environment and offers a balanced dialogue between tradition and modernity."
